Maven Muse: Better Mondays with Milla and Italian Vogue

Good almost afternoon, Monday. L'Shana Tovah to my fellow MOTs. May your year be dipped in apples and honey and goodness.

So I was feeling less than inspired this morning but thanks to the rabbithole called the Internet, I managed to summon a muse who is perfectly in step with the Autumnal vibe in the air.

How can you not adore this Bob Richardson (father of Terry) story for Italian Vogue in 1997 of Milla Jovovich? I have always been obsessed with Milla and her beautiful androgyny. She is such a feminine beauty but pulls off menswear like an absolute boss. In warmer weather, my look often skews way more feminine, but with Fall and Winter not far behind, I embrace menswear wholeheartedly as a chic way to cover up. When you look at these images, you can imagine almost all of these looks being worn right the heck now. And that hair. So amazing. The 90s continue to inspire and captivate me. The 70s and the 90s are by far my two favorite eras in fashion. These images are so modern, clean, and strong. Love every single one. And really, every gal can rock some menswear and look fabulous- it's great for many body types and is fabulous for all age groups.

Every look is so phenomenal, and for that, I am grateful. What a fabulous story- going up on my virtual moodboard of the mind as we speak. Because this maven was very much in need of a muse this Monday, and Milla darling, you are it. Cause that's what's up this masculin/feminin kind of Monday in the 718. Yours, in a muse called Milla. XO
