Five for Friday: The Fall Dress edition

Hey, gang happy Friday. It's been a long week that ended on an up note, and for that, I am grateful. Now only if I could get rid of this dumb headache.  Maybe a little retail therapy just might do the trick. And since it's Friday, I'm going to give you a 5 spot- this time for some great dresses for the Fall. Don't you just love those vintage gals above? And that price is just too nice, right?

I already told ya that I love one piece wear- and dresses are a sure fire way to feel head to toe put together with one easy piece. Lately, I've been favoring silhouettes that are printed and feel either French New Wave/modish or something a little more artfully 90s. All of the pieces I chose have that ingenue vibe I will always adore. AndThe midi dress is a big trend for fall, but I also still love a shorter length when it comes to something a bit more sophisticated. Don't worry, you'll catch my drift- so without further adieu, here are five dresses I'm hearting on this Fall:

This rust dress from local favorite Meg is a must have- it also comes in black and has a cool drop waist and is a lovely piece that has an artsy, vintage vibe. Great with booties or high boots and super feminine yet basic. Love.

I'm an insanely huge fan of No. 6- it's true they're known for their clog game, but they make the prettiest little print dresses that are flattering and fit great. I love this sweet little button up dress. So pretty and great with a turtleneck underneath and a faux fur vest on top. Good little brunch piece.

Most of the dresses I'm showing you are printed, but this is a great LND for those looking for an all purpose piece that feels cool and French. This little ruffle necked number from APC is adorable and simple and altogether classic. With tights or without, such a cute look. Very chic. And yes, it's dark navy and not black- lovely against the face and a twist on the typical LBD.

When's the last time you were in Banana Republic? I know, me neither. But I had a few spare moments between meetings last week and popped into the one by the Empire State Building and the clothes are getting much better. I love this little dress to rock with leather leggings or with black tights- a very cute piece at a good price point.

We all know how much I love Steven Alan- his pieces are super modern and spare but fit beautifully. I love this little artist dress that speaks to that 90s vibe I love- if you're the type of gal who would rock this with a creeper, Lord bless. I'd probably do an ankle bootie or knee high boot but this softly pretty piece would look great fresh out of bed with a smack of red lipstick and a messy bun.

Hope you love these options and get inspired to shop it up. Cause that's what's up this five alive of a Friday in the 718. Yours, in dressing up. XO
