Good day, Tuesday. Blah New York, blah. It's grey and dank and all kinds of Bravo TV marathon from the duvet today. I myself know a thing or two about New York winters, and global warming aside, what always gets my little goat is the gloom. It's not the cold, it's that relentless gloom that gets me, really gets me good. But with Spring very much on the mind and with Fashion Week about to show us what's up for next Fall, I'm craving a bit of skin and one way to get that party started is to show a little ankle, because we all know we're not ready to show much else (shave accordingly, ladies. Nobody likes a hairy ankle).
And as thoughts of extended remixes of daylight and dappled sunshine are permeating your frontal lobe as well, how can you not think of what to wear? I've talked about my love for the exposed ankle before, and the good news on that front is, as long as you're hopping in a cab or jumping in a car to drive to work/dinner/festivities you can rock this look in the winter too. It's a nice way to inject a little Spring into this time of year, when the weather is less about sunshine daydreams and more about cloudy think I'll sleep in todays.
Enjoy this little foray into the pop- ps how much do we lurv those Jil Sander shoes up top there? Yes, please. Oh and all of these looks work well with a cute fake fur or wool boyfriend or wrap coat. Cause that's what's up this pop that ankle kind of Tuesday, gurl in the 212. Expose yourself a bit, won't you? (Self tanner not included). XO
