Andy Spade gets sleepy

Good day, Monday. It's lovely in the city today and hopefully this week will be way better than last. I swear all of these events make one want to crawl under the covers with your loved ones, so it's a perfect time to shout out one of style/branding's biggest bad asses, Andy Spade, and his new line of pajamas called Sleepy Jones. As to be expected, it's the perfectly cute combination of vintage flair with a modern/preppy mystique. And lately I've been thinking of the pj's while watching the new season of "Mad Men"- as dirty as Draper is, he always wears pajamas to bed. That says something I suppose.

I'm a girl who likes to sleep in nice things, and I'm even prone to spritz on a bit of perfume before bed- feeling fresh as one hits the pillow is a noble thing- besides, as a textbook insomniac it somehow relaxes me to feel a bit together when I'm looking to shut my eyes for a spell.

The collection enlists Liberty prints and lovely piped details- I'd not be against wearing one of their pajama pants with a pair of jeans or some cute short shorts to a summer brunch at the beach or in the BK. Like everything Mr. Spade does, I wholeheartedly approve. I've often said I'd work for him for free, because he's just that good. Huge fan of his ability to know exactly what we need, and when- what is better than staying in your pajamas all day?  Oh and those men's Wes Lang rock and roll boxers? I'll take those too...and share them with mon amour.

Because at times like these, making a teepee out of your bed (or climbing into a teepee for that matter) calls for some stylish solutions to sleepwear. Now if only I could go back to bed...

Cause that's what's up this lullaby of a Monday in the 212. Sleep tight. XO
