A little Halloween Inspiration courtesy of Michelle, Susan, and Cher

Good morning, Tuesday. Well blech. It sucks outside. I almost got blown away this am and this afternoon looks to be worse. Stay dry y'all.

So Halloween is a week away and as you know, I'm not really one for costumes. I like to dress up Khan but masquerade is so not my thing. I enjoy looking at all the fun costumes but I'm just too shy to ever want to wear one. That may not make sense (when one is in costume they can be whomever they want) but for me I just loathe exhibitionism and refuse to be clever in that regard. So that's that.

But it doesn't mean a gal can't think about costumes and look for a little inspiration. Mine came in the form of the magical film "The Witches of Eastwick" from 1987, where Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer get seduced by Jack Nicholson. They're all women who are bored of suburban life and who have all lost their men one way or another- enter Jack to play a very devilish devil while these three superstars form a coven in Rhode Island. Not making this up. It's a must see if you haven't seen it. Kind of silly but genius. Needless to say, the ladies get revenge on Jack for messing with them in the first place. In this day and age, I like this concept.

Just wanted to share some snaps from the film- look at that HAIR HAIR HAIR and the fab looks. And if you're looking for a costume for the three of you (whomever you three may be) do this. It's divine. They're divine. I miss the 80s sometimes. I admit it.

Cause that's what's up this witchy Tuesday in the 212. Yours, in getting even and casting glamorous spells. XO
